is a club dedicated to the development of the "WHOLE" athlete. We want our girls to meet their full potential as players, and as good citizens. We are
building a tradition of excellence through Perfect Technique and Sound fundamental instruction. Through excellence in coaching, well-run and sound administration, along with a philosophy of Inclusiveness, and dedication to each member, Atlanta Elite Volleyball is the club for those who wish to learn and reach their maximum potential.

CLUB PHILOSOPHY
Athletes first, winning second!
Our commitment is to the individual athlete and the team. Winning is a great by-product of a great program with dedicated players, coaches and parents. We will produce a winning program through the hard work of all three groups. In the end, winning must be left up to the athletes. Coaches and parents cannot win the game, so once the whistle blows for serve, it is the players who have to take the court and win the day. The self-esteem and confidence of every player will be maintained at all times. Players, coaches and parents will NEVER demean any athlete in this program. Winning programs have winners for players, coaches and parents. The literature clearly shows that superior athletic performance and life performance involves high self-esteem individuals. A program with high self-esteem is a winning program, regardless of the score. Atlanta Elite Volleyball is an ELITE program, not an ELITIST program. We believe in inclusiveness and speaking as well as teaching to the whole athlete, regardless of skill level. All players that show up will be expected to give their best effort and are expected to offer a higher degree of dedication than most of their peers.

The coaches are committed to teaching and preparing athletes for success. Players are committed to showing up ready and eager to learn. Players commit to becoming an important part of a winning team through hard work and dedication. Commitment is define as; the act of committing, pledging, or engaging oneself. Our success is based on the level of COMMITMENT we get from three seperate, but equally important groups...The Coaches, who are the distributors of knowledge. They teach, teach, re-teach, then they coach; The Player- must come in with a "CAN DO" attitude, and a thirst for knowledge. They must be ready to become "Students of the Game." The Parent- must support, support, and support. They must stand by the Athlete, the Coach, and must buy into the Philosophy of the club.

The most important learning environment is one, in which everyone is listening and understanding. The most effective learning environment is one where listening, learning, and understanding reside. Our team environment will stress positive, open and honest dialogue. Players are expected to demand to be
taught the proper skills. Coaches should expect players to come eager to learn.
Initiative
Players are expected to want to learn to play volleyball. Show up ready to work hard. Go hard or go home. You owe it to yourself and your team. Practice
makes permanent. Teams that practice tough, play tough. If you do not leave tired, you probably were not going all out. Our program is based on the
coaches demonstrating the skills, answering questions, and then asking the athletes to perform the skills. Our style of coaching will require listening
and paying attention for long stretches of time. This is initially very difficult. However, once the player is paying attention, the learning process
accelerates. Our program methodology will produce a higher caliber player in a shorter period.
